Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday to meet me, Clayton Harris III, Jan Schakowsky, and many other Northside Dems!

What's your plan to vote?
You can vote TODAY (Sunday, March 17) til 4pm at the Edgewater Library (6000 N. Broadway St.) or at any of the Early Voting locations in the city. You can vote TOMORROW from 9am-6pm in those same locations.

Prefer to vote on Election Day?
It's this Tuesday, March 19. You can vote in ANY of the following locations on Tuesday between 6am-7pm:

  • The Edgewater Library (6000 N. Broadway)

  • Any of the Early Voting locations (there's one in every ward and you can vote at any of them — maybe there's a location close to where you work?) OR

  • Your own polling location — find that here.

Illinois residents have more access to voting that most other states — let's take advantage of that and make sure our votes are heard!

Check out ChicagoElections.gov for all the information you need to know about voting, including getting a sample ballot.

In my note to you on Thursday, I reported that 48th ward is was #3 in voter turnout and now we're at #4. Come on, 48th ward voters — let's get up there!

Let's Bring Chicago Home!
Ballot Question 1, AKA "Bring Chicago Home," is the result of the hard work of grassroots organizers who have been fighting for this for years.

I am proud of my work as an organizer and that I am now able to get important movements like this one on the ballot, in the hands of the voters, through my position on the Chicago City Council.

Thank YOU for helping me get there — together we can BRING CHICAGO HOME!

In addition to Bring Chicago Home, I have also endorsed the following candidates in this election:

  • Clayton Harris III for Cook County State's Attorney

  • Mariyana Spyropoulos for Clerk of the Circuit Court

  • Debjani "Deb" Desai for Cook County Circuit Court

  • Michael J. Zink for Judge of Cook County’s 20th Subcircuit

If you are looking for information on additional judges on the ballot, check out Injustice Watch for a sample ballot to take to the polls.
